Red Velvet are celebrating their 10th anniversary, so I ranked ALL of their songs (so far)

⚠ Media Heavy ⚠

A picture of Red Velvet during the Cosmic era where they are all sitting on some steps outdoor. From left to right Yeri, Joy, Irene, Wendy and Seulgi.

Sometimes, it's hard to believe how fast time passes. I remember like it was yesterday when the first teasers for the group came out; people were commenting how the members were all identical -I never understood those comments- and how Joy was going to be the "cold princess" of the group.
When "Happiness" came out, I loved it so much I had it on repeat -this is a bit embarrassing, but I also tried to learn the choreography-.
TEN YEARS!!! have passed since then, so I decided to look back at Red Velvet's discography as a group. I will be ranking all of their songs according to this Wikipedia article
Red Velvet has so many good b-sides that it's hard to rank them without feeling bad about it, so I will write some small comments underneath the entries to explain their ranking (or to just make a comment), but some of my reasons will have no rhyme or reason, and some will be just plain petty, lol.
By the way, I listened to all these songs in a row and on release order. I'm not an expert on anything, just a fan, so this ranking is based on my personal taste and my current mood.

136. "ZOO" - The Red Summer (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "The Red Summer" where the members are walking in a field where the sky is made of watermelon, the sun is an orange, the trees are pineapples and its full of other different fruits.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran (Jam Factory).
Music: LDN Noise, Courtney Woolsey, and Alice Penrose.
Arrangement: LDN Noise.

Although this is a popular Red Velvet b-side, I don't like it at all. I find the animal noises in the song annoying. The Tarzan-esque high notes are cute, though. But sadly, this song is not for me.

135. "Some Love" -  Russian Roulette (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Russian Roulette" where in a light turquoise background the words Russian Roulette are written diagonally in cream color and with a pink border, they are piercing a cream colored heart with a pink border.

Lyrics: Kenzie
Music: Kenzie
Arrangement: Kenzie

Some parts of the instrumental remind me of the whistle in the instrumental of "Zoo" and also to "Sorry" by Justin Bieber. I found the song, in general, to be boring, like it's just... there.

134. "Just Sing" - Trolls: World Tour OST (2020)

Lyrics: Justin Timberlake, Sarah Aarons, Ludwig Göransson, and Max Martin
Producers: Justin Timberlake, and Ludwig Göransson.

This is a super small feature (5 seconds long). You can hear Red Velvet singing at 2:17
The song is song is just okay and to be sincere it's a tad boring. I'm not a big fan of computer-animated movies (the exception being the Barbie movie), so I didn't watch this one. Maybe if I were a fan of the Trolls saga (? I might have liked this song a little bit more, but just a little.

133. "Don't U Wait no More" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: 100% Lyricism.
Music: Dem Jointz, Taylor Parks and Ryan S. Jhun.
Arrangement: Dem Jointz.

The instrumental in this song is quite busy, as is the layering of the vocals; there is too much going on. I would probably have liked this song more if it wasn't so repetitive.

132.  "Yossism" - Telemonster OST (2016)

Lyrics: Park Min-Seo

"Yossism" is the ending theme for the second season of Telemonster, a show for kids. It is also the character song for "Yossi," the pink character that appears in the video above -I thought it was a cat, but apparently, it's a Kitsune, lol-
I'm not going to lie, this song is nice and cute, but Red Velvet has other songs that I liked way better, which is why this one is ranked 131.

131. "Little Little" Rookie (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Rookie" where Seulgi is laying in a sky blue background with multiple tiny Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri walking on top and around her. There are also some fruits, cupcakes, macarons and a toy duck around her

Lyrics: JQ (Makeumine Works), Jo Min-Yang (lalala Studio) and Park Seong-Hee.
Music: Gifty Dankwah and Bruce Fielder.
Arrangement: Gifty Dankwah and Bruce Fielder.

I loved the instrumental of this song, especially at the start, but I found the song a bit boring.

130. "What I Wanted from You" (너에게 원한 건) - Two Yoo Project Sugar Man OST (2016)

Lyrics: Hong Jong-Goo.
Music: Chung Sung-Il.
Arrangement: Philtre.

"What I Wanted from You" or "To Get What Your Heart Wants" was made for the variety show Two Yoo Project Sugar Man.
This song is good, but it would have been better if Irene and Yeri's rap at the start was in the middle or more towards the end of the song.

129. "Body Talk" - Rookie (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Rookie" where Seulgi is laying in a sky blue background with multiple tiny Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri walking on top and around her. There are also some fruits, cupcakes, macarons and a toy duck around her

Lyrics: Misfit and Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: Sebastian Lundberg (Trinity Music), Fredrik Häggstam (Trinity Music),
Johan Gustafsson (Trinity Music) and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: Trinity Music and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).

This is a nice R&B song. I like the instrumental, especially during Wendy's part in the first verse; it sounds good, but I think Yeri's part in the chorus sounds slightly odd.
To be sincere, this song doesn't stand out much when you are listening to so many songs in a row...

128. "I Just" - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Lyrics: Kim Boo-Min
Music: Hitchhiker, Aventurina King, Kim Boo-Min and John Fulford III.
Arrangement: Hitchhiker

I think some parts of the music of "I Just" are too loud and overshadow the vocals a bit. I find this song relaxing, though.

127. "Mojito" (여름빛) - The Red Summer (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "The Red Summer" where the members are walking in a field where the sky is made of watermelon, the sun is an orange, the trees are pineapples and its full of other different fruits.

Lyrics: JQ (Makeumine Works) and Hyun Ji-Won (Makeumine Works).
Music: Marissa Jack, Lars Halvor Jensen and Johannes "Josh" Jorgensen.
Arrangement: Deekay.

"Mojito" is a good summer song, but it didn't catch my attention when I was listening to The Red Summer mini-album, probably because I was listening to it while there was -1° in my country (just kidding). Although "Mojito" is a good summer song Red Velvet has other, better summer songs.

126. "Bing Bing" (친구가 아냐) - The ReVe Festival: Day 1 (2019)

Digital cover for Red Velvet's mini-album The ReVe Festival: Day 1. There is an amusment park in a yellow background. On a small mountain at the right of the picture there is a sign that says: The Reve Festival

Lyrics: Kim Soo-Jin.
Music: Will Simms, Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel) and Neil Athale.
Arrangement: Will Simms, Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel) and Neil Athale.

The reason why I put "Bing Bing" at 125 is just petty, but I don't like the "G-g-gentlemen" part at the start.

125. "Wish Tree" (세가지 소원) - Winter Garden (2015)

Lyrics: January 8th (Jam Factory).
Music: Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton and Aaron Benward.
Arrangement: Hwang Chan-Hee and Cheerful Player.
Strings Arrangement and Conductor: Park In-Young.

"Wish Tree" was made for Winter Garden, a mini-album that also had songs sung by f(x) and BoA.
This is a lovely Christmas song. I like listening to happy and fast-paced Christmas songs throughout the year, but slow Christmas songs are reserved for Christmas time. Maybe around Christmas, I will feel bad for ranking this song 124.

124. "Talk To Me" - Rookie (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Rookie" where Seulgi is laying in a sky blue background with multiple tiny Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri walking on top and around her. There are also some fruits, cupcakes, macarons and a toy duck around her

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran (Jam Factory).
Music: Kervens Mazile, Annalise Morelli (LYRE), Alina Smith (LYRE) and Mats Ymell.
Arrangement: Kervens Mazile, LYRE and Mats Ymell.

I like the start of the instrumental quite a lot, it sounds odd at first but is good. I didn't like this song the first time I heard it, but now, every time I listen to it I enjoy it a bit more -although not as much as the songs that come below this one-.

123. Rose Scent Breeze (장미꽃 향기는 바람에 날리고) - The Velvet (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album: The Velvet. In the picture the members are sitting from left to right in an open circle Yeri (who is slightly out of focus), Wendy, Joy, Irene and Seulgi they are wearing white capes and holding crayons lighted up like candles. Irene and Wendy are looking at the "candles" while Seulgi, Joy and Yeri look at the camera.

Lyrics: Jung Hye-Kyung.
Music: Hong Jong-Hwa.
Arrangement: Park Geun-Cheol and Jung Soo-Min.

This song is a remake of the 1989 song of the same name sung by Lee Soo Man (the founder of SM). This song only features Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy.
"Rose Scent Breeze" is a lovely ballad and goes great with the velvet side of Red Velvet. The voices of the members sound really good in this song and the instrumental is beautiful. -As I'm writing this I'm not in the mood for slow, sad songs, If I was this song would be in the top 20-

122. "Last Love" (마지막 사랑) - Rookie (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Rookie" where Seulgi is laying in a sky blue background with multiple tiny Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri walking on top and around her. There are also some fruits, cupcakes, macarons and a toy duck around her

Lyrics: John Hyunkyu Lee.
Music: Park Geun-Tae.
Arrangement: Don Spike.

"Last Love" is Wendy's solo song.
The same reasons as the song above, the song is beautiful, but I'm not in the mood for it.

121. "RBB (Really Bad Boy)" - RBB (2018)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Timothy "BOS" Bullock, Sara Forsberg and MZMC.
Arrangement: Timothy "BOS" Bullock.

"RBB (Really Bad Boy)" is Red Velvet's worst title track in my opinion, even if it partially shares its name with one of their best songs (I think that's what makes it worse).

120. "With You" (한 여름의 크리스마스) - Summer Magic (2018)

Digital cover for Red Velvet mini-album: "Summer Magic." In the picture the members are sunbathing in beach recliners.

Lyrics: January 8th and Song Carat (Jam Factory).
Music: Nermin Harambašić, Anne Judith Stokke Wik, Choi Jin-Suk, Hugo Solis and Gionata Caracciolo (Gabesco).
Arrangement: Dsign Music and Hugo Solis.

I don't know how to explain it, but this song feels repetitive as if I had listened to this song a thousand times already when, at maximum, I heard it like three times. I like the harmonies at the end; they are fantastic.

119. "#Cookie Jar" - #Cookie Jar (2018)

Lyrics: MEG.ME.
Music: Efraim Leo, JFMee, Gavin Jones, Saima Irén Mian,
Ronny Vidar Svendsen, Anne Judith Stokke Wik and Nermin Harambšić.
Arrangement: Dsign Music and Efraim Leo.

This is 100% petty, but this song would be a lot better if it didn't say "hashtag." Anything would be nicer, like "amai cookie jar" (which means sweet in Japanese) or even "get a cookie jar." Every time I hear "hashtag" in this song, my face looks like this.

118. "Cool World" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Im Seo-Hyun.
Music: Daniel "Obi" Klein, Marcus Winther-John and Andy Love.
Arrangement: Daniel "Obi" Klein, Marcus Winther-John and Andy Love.

This song has a nice start, but the chorus becomes boring fast...

117. "Close To Me" (2019)

Lyrics: Ellie Goulding, Thomas Wesley Pentz, Savan Kotecha,
Ilya Salmanzadeh, Peter Svensson, Jang Wooyoung, Wendy, Yeri,
Min Sungsu, Kwon Eugene,  Lee Min-Kyu and Lee Seu-Ran.
Producers: Diplo, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Bas van Daalen and Alvaro.

Red Velvet features in a remix of Ellie Goulding's song "Close To Me," released in 2019. The song appears as the bonus track of the Japanese version of Goulding's 2020 album Brightest Blue.
I can't listen to Ellie Goulding; for some reason, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. The only reason I heard this song was to do this ranking.
Anyway, the members of Red Velvet sound good in this song, I preferred their version of the chorus.

116. "First Time" (처음인가요) - The Velvet (2016)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie.
Arrangement: Kenzie.

The instrumental and the chorus of this song are fantastic.

115. "Attaboy" - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Cover of Red Velvet's for their mini-album "Perfect Velvet." In the picture two of the members are walking towards a house, while the other three are shown as giants behind the house with their foreheads touching.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, The Stereotypes and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: The Stereotypes.

"Attaboy" is quite a unique song. I hated it at first, but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. The bridge is fantastic and helps make the song better.

114. "Parade" (안녕, 여름) - The ReVe Festival: Day 1 (2019)

Digital cover for Red Velvet's mini-album The ReVe Festival: Day 1. There is an amusment park in a yellow background. On a small mountain at the right of the picture there is a sign that says: The Reve Festival

Lyrics: Seo Ji-Eu.
Music: Fredrik Häggstam (Trinity Music), Johan Gustafsson (Trinity Music),
Sebastian Lundberg (Trinity Music) and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: Trinity Music.

"Parade" is a fun song, but the chorus lacks energy compared to the pre-chorus. I like the bicycle bell ringing throughout the instrumental, it's cute.

113. "Future" (미래) - Start-Up OST (2020)

Lyrics: Taibian and Park Se-Joon.
Music: Taibian, Bark and YESY.
Arrangement: Taibian and Bark.

I didn't watch Start Up -not my type of Kdrama- maybe if I had, I would (sort of) be attached to this song and ranked it better, but alas, I found it quite boring.

112. "Birthday" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday (2022)

Lyrics: Kim Min-Ji (Jam Factory).
Music: Ejae, Kole, Isaac Han, Aaron Kim, Ghostchild Ltd and Loosen Door.
Arrangement: Isaac Han, Aaron Kim, Ghostchild Ltd and Loosen Door.

If "RBB" is Red Velvet's worst title track, "Birthday" is the most boring. When the lyrics say, "I can make the beat go~" I thought the beat would turn crazy good or something. I ended up disappointed.

111. "Pose" - Queendom (2021)

Cover of Red Velvet's mini-album: "Queendom". Where the members are in a field. Yeri and Seulgi are standing in a yellow construction machine adorned with balloons.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran.
Music: Fabian Torsson, Harry Sommerdahl, Ylva Dimberg and Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker.
Arrangement: Fabian Torsson, Harry Sommerdahl, Ylva Dimberg and Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker.

I love the beat of this song, especially at the beginning, but I don't enjoy the chorus.

110. "Mr. E" - Summer Magic (2018)

Digital cover for Red Velvet mini-album: "Summer Magic." In the picture the members are sunbathing in beach recliners.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Sebastian Lundberg (Trinity Music), Fredrik Häggstam (Trinity Music),
Johan Gustafsson (Trinity Music) and Courtney Woolsey.
Arrangement: Trinity Music.

I love the "Abracadabra" part in the chorus; it sounds so good, but the drum beat throughout the song is a little bit too loud for my taste.

109. "Milkshake" - The ReVe Festival: Day 1 (2019)

Lyrics: Kim Bo-Eun.
Music: Jonatan Gusmark (Moonshine), Ludvig Evers (Moonshine),
Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker (Sunshine) and Ellen Berg Tollbom (Sunshine).
Arrangement: Moonshine.

I find the "Milkshake~~" in the intro a tiny bit annoying, and the pre-chorus sounds a bit whiny, but overall is a nice song. The cute video was made to celebrate Red Velvet's 5th anniversary.

108. "You Better Know" - The Red Summer (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "The Red Summer" where the members are walking in a field where the sky is made of watermelon, the sun is an orange, the trees are pineapples and its full of other different fruits.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran, JQ (Makeumine Works) and Choi Ji-Hye (Makeumine Works).
Music: Becky Jarams, Pontus Persson and Okajima Kanata.
Arrangement: Pontus Persson.

"You Better Know" musically feels like a party anthem, but to be sincere I found it a tad boring until the song picked up steam towards the end.

107. "SAPPY" - Sappy (2019)

Lyrics: MEG.ME.
Music: Maria Marcus, Andreas Öberg and Emyli.
Arrangement: Andreas Öberg and Emyli.

I don't like the intro of this song, in fact, I hate that part, but I LOVE the pre-chorus so much. By the way, I don't know why, but before this song, I was convinced that sappy was an insult (?

106. "Color of Love" - Bloom (2022)

Cover of Red Velvet's Japanese album: "Bloom." Clockwise starting from 12 O'clock Irene, Yeri, Joy, Wendy and Seulgi are sitting and standing around a carpet, the carpet has a vase in the middle. Adorning the picture there are some painted flowers in the corners

Lyrics: Kobayashi Natsumi.
Music: Ashley Alisha, Hyuk Shin, JJ Evans,
Hong Young-In (Royal Dive) and Jun Byoung-Sun (Royal Dive).

This song is so pretty and easy to listen to, but after listening to so many songs in a row, this one made me feel kind of sleepy.

105. "Hello, Sunset" (다시 여름) - Queendom (2021)

Cover of Red Velvet's mini-album: "Queendom". Where the members are in a field. Yeri and Seulgi are standing in a yellow construction machine adorned with balloons.

Lyrics: Choi Bo-Ra (153Joombas)
Music: Sam Klempner, Noémie Legrand and Dewain Whitmore Jr.
Arrangement: Sam Klempner.

The same as reasons as "Color of Love" .

104. "Milky Way" - Our Beloved BoA (2020)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie.
Arrangement: Kenzie.

"Milky Way" is a remake of BoA's song from her 2003 album Atlantis Princess. Red Velvet's version was made for SM Station 2020 project "Our Beloved BoA" to celebrate BoA's 20th anniversary.
This is a nice remake; it sounds lovely, it has good harmonies, a jazz influence and Wendy even does a bit of scatting during a part of the song, but my ranking is clouded by the original one.

103. "Butterflies" - RBB (2018)

Cover from Red Velvet's mini-album: "RBB." From left to right, above: Yeri, Irene and Joy. Bellow Wendy and Seulgi Sit inside of the mouth of a wolf statue.

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: Harvey Mason Jr., Michael "R!OT" Wyckoff, Joshua Golden,
Patrick "J. Que" Smith, Dewain Whitmore Jr., Britt Burton and Yoo Young-Jin.
Arrangement: Harvey Mason Jr. and Michael "R!OT" Wyckoff.

"Butterflies" is a nice and cheerful song. It would work great as a pick-me-up song -like when you feel sad-. I quite liked it.

102. "Rebirth" (환생) - SM Station Season 2 (2017)

Lyrics: Yoon Jong-Shin and JQ.
Music: Yoon Jong-Shin, Yoo Hee-Yeol and Choi Jin-Seok-
Arrangement: Jin by Jin.

"Rebirth" is a remake of Yoon Jong-Shin's 1996 song of the same name, released in 2017 through the second season of the project SM Station.
This song is super cute. It has a child-like, lullaby-esque feeling to it. The music video is a bit weird. I mean, what is that pole doing in a classroom???? By the way, while I was writing this, I heard the original song, and I enjoyed it a lot.

101. "My Dear" - Russian Roulette (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Russian Roulette" where in a light turquoise background the words Russian Roulette are written diagonally in cream color and with a pink border, they are piercing a cream colored heart with a pink border.

Lyrics: Hyun Hwang (MonoTree).
Music: Hyun Hwang (MonoTree).
Arrangement: Hyun Hwang (MonoTree).

"My Dear" has a nice rhythm. The instrumental has kind of a "funky" vibe to it -not sure if that is the correct term- and like in "Milky Way" Wendy does some scat singing towards the end of the song.

100. "Love is the Way" - The ReVe Festival: Day 2 (2019)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini-album "The ReVe Festival: Day 2." The picture resembles a water park with diffrent underwater attractions

Lyrics: Ku Tae-Woo and Shin Hye-Sun.
Music: Ryan S. Jhun, iDR, Nermin Harambašić, Rodnae "Chikk" Bell,
Courtney Woolsey and Charite Viken Reinås.
Arrangement: iDR.

"Love is the Way" has a retro vibe. The male voice that sings, "Oh your lips says no, but my heart says yes," makes the song stand out a bit more, in a sense.

99. "Would U" - SM Station Season 2 (2017)

Lyrics: January 8th.
Music: Iggy (Oreo), C-no (Oreo), Kim Woong (Oreo), Andreas Oberg and Simon Petrén.
Arrangement: Oreo.

This song is super chill, the piano sounds fantastic, and the harmonies are really good. By the way, Joy is not in this song because she was busy filming the Kdrama The Liar and His Lover.

98. "Fool" - Russian Roulette (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Russian Roulette" where in a light turquoise background the words Russian Roulette are written diagonally in cream color and with a pink border, they are piercing a cream colored heart with a pink border.

Lyrics: January 8th.
Music: Malin Johansson and Josef Melin.
Arrangement: Malin Johansson and Josef Melin

I really enjoy the instrumental of this song. I particularly like the change at the 4th/5th note (that also happens during other parts of the song) ﹘ it gives a bit of a distorted sound.

97. "Eyes Locked, Hands Locked" (눈 맞추고, 손 맞대고) - The ReVe Festival: Day 2 (2019)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini-album "The ReVe Festival: Day 2." The picture resembles a water park with diffrent underwater attractions

Lyrics: Sumin (Hard Carry).
Music: Sumin (Hard Carry).
Arrangement: Sumin (Hard Carry) and Jeong Dong-Hwan.

I found the start of "Eyes Locked, Hands Locked" a bit boring, but as the song goes on, it gets more interesting. The song towards the end is perfect; I loved it.

96. "Dumb Dumb" - The Red (2015)

Lyrics: Seo Ji-Eun and Kim Dong-Hyun.
Music: LDN Noise, Deanna Dellacioppa, Taylor Parks and Ryan S. Jhun.
Arrangement: LDN Noise, Deanna Dellacioppa, Taylor Parks and Ryan S. Jhun.

This is sheer pettiness, but the reason I ranked "Dumb Dumb" 95 is because I hate the Michael Jackson rap part so much. For me, it feels so out of place, which is a pity because I love everything about the concept ﹘ the music, the choreography, the MV...

95. "Candy" (사탕) - Ice Cream Cake (2015)

Cover from Red Velvet's mini-album "Ice Cream Cake" where the members are drawn in a cream background with blonde hair and a bird with their respective color. On top left Joy (green bird) and right Yeri (purple bird). At the bottom left to right Irene (pink bird), Wendy (Blue bird) and Seulgi (Yellow bird)

Lyrics: Hong Ji-Yoo.
Music: Claire Rodrigues Lee (Hookline & Singer Music) and Kevin Charge (TG Publishing).
Arrangement: Score.

The vocals in this song are superb. To be sincere, "Candy" is not my cup of tea, but it's still a good song.

94. "Huff n Puff" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Alex G., Anne Preven, Will Gray and Jaden Michaels.
Arrangement: Alex G., Anne Preven, Will Gray and Jaden Michaels.

This song is nice, but I don't like the "I don't know why~" part, I feel like it doesn't fit. The marching drums in this song sound fantastic, they are my favorite part.

93. "Happily Ever After" - Rookie (2017)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Rookie" where Seulgi is laying in a sky blue background with multiple tiny Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri walking on top and around her. There are also some fruits, cupcakes, macarons and a toy duck around her

Lyrics: Baek Geum-Min (Song Carat) and Lee Soo-Jung (Song Carat).
Music: Sebastian Lundberg (Trinity Music), Fredrik Häggstam (Trinity Music),
Johan Gustafsson (Trinity Music), Courtney Woolsey and Deez.
Arrangement: Trinity Music, Courtney Woolsey and Deez.

I find the beat of the song kind of annoying, but I love the pre-chorus and the bridge.

92. "See the Stars" (어떤 별보다) - Hotel Del Luna OST (2019)

Lyrics: Ji Hoon and Park Se-Jun.
Music: Yoo Song-Yeon and Jay Lee.
Arrangement: Yoo Song-Yeon and Jay Lee.

Ok, the cat is out of the bag ﹘ I am a lousy Kdrama watcher because I also didn't watch Hotel Del Luna. "See the Stars" is a little more my style compared to the other OST.

91. "Stupid Cupid" - Ice Cream Cake (2015)

Lyrics: Seong Hyun-Bin.
Music: Andrew Choi, Hayley Aitken, Joseph "220" Park (Iconic Sounds)
and Cha Cha Malone (Iconic Sounds).
Arrangement: Andrew Choi, Hayley Aitken and Iconic Sounds.

The original ranking of "Stupid Cupid" was a lot lower (I wrote everything on a spreadsheet first), but I have been enjoying this song a bit more lately, so I pushed it up a bit. Although I love the way the song ends, I think that the part where Joy says, "You know, you are so stupid," should have been at the end or taken out altogether.

90. "Remember Forever" - The ReVe Festival: Finale (2019)

Cover from Red Velvet's compilation album: "The ReVe Festival: Finale." The picture is drawn. It has a resemblance to the wizard of oz with some characters walking in a yellow road and a pink house above a character with black and white socks with red sparkly shoes.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran and  Jang Yeo-Jin (lalala Studio).
Music: Louise Frick Sveen, Jeon Byung-Sun (Royal Dive [Joombas]) and Hong Young-In (Royal Dive [Joombas]).
Arrangement: Royal Dive (Joombas).

This song is lovely. I love Yeri's verse after the first chorus, which reminds me a bit of SNSD's "Oh La-La!."

89. "Taste" - RBB (2018)

Cover from Red Velvet's mini-album: "RBB." From left to right, above: Yeri, Irene and Joy. Bellow Wendy and Seulgi Sit inside of the mouth of a wolf statue.

Lyrics: Park Seong-Hee and Penomeco.
Music: Dem Jointz.
Arrangement: Dem Jointz.

The instrumental of this song is interesting. Every time I listen to this song, the part where Yeri laughs like "Pa-ha" cracks me up.

88. "Pushin n Pullin" - Queendom (2021)

Cover of Red Velvet's mini-album: "Queendom". Where the members are in a field. Yeri and Seulgi are standing in a yellow construction machine adorned with balloons.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Mike Daley, Mitchell Owens and Nicole Cohen.
Arrangement: Mike Daley and Mitchell Owens.

To be sincere, I found this song to be a bit boring, but I love the instrumental ﹘ the piano sounds lovely and the vocals are excellent.

87. "Perfect 10" - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Cover of Red Velvet's for their mini-album "Perfect Velvet." In the picture two of the members are walking towards a house, while the other three are shown as giants behind the house with their foreheads touching.

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: Daniel "Obi" Klein and Charli Taft.
Arrangement: Daniel "Obi" Klein.

"Perfect 10" is a nice, chill song. The bridge is good, and I like the part of the chorus that says, "I'll be your perfect 10" and the "10" repeats (?.

86. "WILDSIDE" - Bloom (2022)

Lyrics: Boyhood.
Music: Deez, Yunsu and Anne Judith Stokke Wik.

I don't know why, but the chorus sort of disappoints me. I do like the rest of the song, though.

85. "Jackpot" - Bloom (2022)

Lyrics: UME.
Music: Alysa, Carlyle Cosmas Savio Fernandes, Nermin Harambašić, Jin by Jin, Ronny Vidar Svendsen and Anne Judith Stokke Wik.

This song is filled with little sound effects. To be sincere, I don't like this song a lot, but the pre-chorus is so good that it makes up for it. The chorus gives me "cabaret" style music -I don't know what it's called- (like "Show Girls" by SNSD)

84. "Sunflower" - Cosmic (2024)

Cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Cosmic." From left to right Yeri sits on the floor, Joy sits on a bed, Irene is standing, Seulgi is sitting on a blue sofa and Wendy is also sitting on the floor. They are all wearing white and black outfits that are inspired on sailors.

Lyrics: Kim In-Hyung (Jam Factory) and Jeong Mul-Hwa (Jam Factory).
Music: Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker, Wilhelmina, Jonatan Gusmark and Ludvig Evers.
Arrangement: Moonshine.

The intro and the pre-chorus(es) are quite relaxing.

83. "Light Me Up" - The Velvet (2016)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Deez and Rodnae "Chikk" Bell.
Arrangement: Deez.

I don't enjoy the beginning of "Light Me Up" a lot, but just like "Eyes Locked, Hands Locked," the song gradually gets better.

82. "Bye Bye" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday (2022)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday." The cover is all pink and black and features a drawn character that resembles an anthropomorphic feral cat.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Ludvig Evers, Jonatan Gusmark, Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker and Ellen Berg Tollbom.
Lyrics: Kenzie and Moonshine.

The "Bye~" part reminds me of Beethoven's "Für Elise." I love the bridge, but the rest of the song is a bit meh.

81. "So Good" - RBB (2018)

Cover from Red Velvet's mini-album: "RBB." From left to right, above: Yeri, Irene and Joy. Bellow Wendy and Seulgi Sit inside of the mouth of a wolf statue.

Lyrics: Kim In-Hyung.
Music: LDN Noise, Deez and Ellen Berg Tollbom (Sunshine).
Arrangement: LDN Noise, Deez and Ellen Berg Tollbom (Sunshine).

"So Good" honors its name by being so good. Although it's a chill song, it has a little part where the pace is a bit faster, which sounds so good.

80. "Celebrate" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday (2022)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday." The cover is all pink and black and features a drawn character that resembles an anthropomorphic feral cat.

Lyrics: Bay (153/Joombas).
Music: Kenneth Chris Mackey and Anna Graceman.
Arrangement: Chris "Dirty Rice" Mackey.

"Celebrate" is a relaxing song and it fits lyrical and instrumentally as the final track of the album mini-album. This song feels mature and is day and night with "Birthday," which in comparison feels quite childish.

79. "On a Ride" (롤러코스터) - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday (2022)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday." The cover is all pink and black and features a drawn character that resembles an anthropomorphic feral cat.

Lyrics: Danke (lalala Studio).
Music: Ryvng (153/Joombas), Maynine (153/Joombas), Tim Tan, Ciara Muscat, Perrie (153/Joombas) and Oh Hyung-Seok.
Arrangement: Tim Tan, Ryvng (153/Joombas) and Maynine (153/Joombas).

The instrumental of this song is so fun and interesting; it's a truly unique song. The pre-chorus and the chorus are superb.

78. "Something Kind of Crazy" - Ice Cream Cake (2015)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Teddy Riley (Red Rocket), Dominique "DOM" Rodriguez (Red Rocket), Lee Hyun-Seung (Red Rocket) and Charli Taft.
Arrangement: Kenzie, Red Rocket and Charli Taft.

The rhythm and pace of "Something Kind of Crazy" is great. I love the harmonies you can hear in the background of the chorus and pre-chorus.

77. "Night Drive" - Cosmic (2024)

Lyrics: Danke, Moon Seol-Ri, Na Jeong-Ah (153/Joombas) and Yoo Jae-Eun (153/Joombas).
Music: Flip_00, Isak Alvedahl, 37 and Rachael Chevlin.
Arrangement: Flip_00 and 37.

I like the last chorus quite a lot, especially with those high notes.

76. "Be Natural" feat. Taeyong (2014)

Lyrics: Yoo Young-Jin.
Music: Yoo Young-Jin.
Arrangement: Yoo Young-Jin.

"Be Natural" is a cover of S.E.S's song of the same name. I'm not a big fan of "Be Natural," but being honest, I prefer Red Velvet's version by a big margin. Anyways, SR14B Taeyong's "Booming system, uh, uh, TY track, TY track" remains iconic ✨

75. "Campfire" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: LDN Noise, Taylor Parks, iDR and Ryan S. Jhun.
Arrangement: LDN Noise, Taylor Parks, iDR and Ryan S. Jhun.

The bass in "Campfire" is just fire. Irene's rap sounds especially good in this song. I like the last verse before the second chorus.

74. "Feel My Rhythm" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm (2022)

Lyrics: Seo Ji-Eum.
Music: Jake K (Artiffect), Maria Marcus (Artiffect), Andreas Öberg and MCK (Artiffect).
Arrangement: Artiffect.

Everything in "Feel My Rhythm" feels like it was made for me ﹘ the concept, the MV, the sampling of classical music and even that Pride & Prejudice reference in the lyrics, but sadly I think that there are just so many things happening in the instrumental that don't really let the song shine, I would have loved "Feel My Rhythm" if the instrumental was more stripped down, like during the climax of the song, which sounds so perfect.

73. "Time to Love" - The Perfect Red Velvet (2018)

Cover for Red Velvet's repackage album "The Perfect Red Velvet." The cover is red and black and features the members walking away from the camera. Some of the words in the title look as if they were dripping.

Lyrics: Kang Eun-Jung.
Music: Ellen Berg Tollbom (Sunshine), MinGtion (ADC Music) and Lee Dong-Hoon.
Arrangement: MinGtion (ADC Music).

"Time to Love" is a relaxing song. I like the ad-libs towards the end of the song; they sound fantastic.

72. "Will I Ever See You Again?" - Chill Kill (2023)

Cover for Red Velvet's album "Chill Kill." The cover resembles a family portrait with the members being in the middle of an oval. at the bottom Seulgi on the left and Yeri on the right rest their head on Joy's shoulders who is standing in the middle of the photo. Above them on the left Irene and the right Wendy face fowards to the camera. The rest of the cover is black and decorated with silver butterflies, flowers, a sun, a moon and the tail of a tiger appear around the oval.

Lyrics: Lee Eun-Hwa (153/Joombas), Kang Eun-Jung, Lee Hyun-Yum (Jam Factory), Lee Seu-Ran and Moon Seol-Ri.
Music: Mats Koray Genc, Nermin Harambašić, Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker, Siv Marit Egseth, Hugo Solis, Kristian Dahl and Bergsland.
Arrangement: Mats Koray Genc.

The start of this song is kind of meh, but it gets more interesting at the bridge and afterward. Some parts of the instrumental -and by some parts, I mean the intro- sound a bit like a ringtone (?

71. "Red Dress" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: LDN Noise, Nermin Harambašić, Choi Jin-Suk, Rodnae "Chikk" Bell, Charite Viken Reinås and Ryan S. Jhun.
Arrangement: LDN Noise, Nermin Harambašić, Rodnae "Chikk" Bell, Charite Viken Reinås and Ryan S. Jhun.

I don't know how to explain it, but "Red Dress" is so red-coded; it's quite a fun song.

70. "Cool Hot Sweet Love" - The Velvet (2016)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Daniel "Obi" Klein, Charli Taft, Michael Nordmark and Thomas Sardof.
Arrangement: Daniel "Obi" Klein, Charli Taft, Michael Nordmark and Thomas Sardof.

The beat of this song is so unique. I like the outro; it sounds cool.

Cover of Red Velvet's Mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhytm." Where the members are wearing blush pink dresses and standing around a garden that has a fountain covered in flowers. The title of the album is written to resemble clouds.

Lyrics: Danke (lalala Studio)
Music: Park Geun-Tae, MinGtion and Sophia Pae.
Arrangement: MinGtion.

I find "Good, Bad, Ugly" so easy to listen. Joy's voice sounds phenomenal in this song (the other members, too, but Joy stood out a bit more)

68. "Jumpin'" - The ReVe Festival: Day 2 (2019)

Cover for Red Velvet's mini-album "The ReVe Festival: Day 2." The picture resembles a water park with diffrent underwater attractions

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Daniel Caesar (Caesar & Loui), Ludwig Lindell (Caesar & Loui) and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: Cesar & Loui (The Kennel).

I love the verses and the bridge of this song. I don't enjoy the chorus, though.

67. "My Second Date" (두 번째 데이트) - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Cover of Red Velvet's for their mini-album "Perfect Velvet." In the picture two of the members are walking towards a house, while the other three are shown as giants behind the house with their foreheads touching.

Lyrics: Jeon Gan-Di.
Music: "Gladius" James Wong, Sidnie Tipton and Sophie Stern.
Arrangement: "Gladius" James Wong.

I find this song to be odd but nice at the same time. The xylophone that is in the ENTIRE song is a bit annoying.

66. "Sunny Afternoon" - Russian Roulette (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Russian Roulette" where in a light turquoise background the words Russian Roulette are written diagonally in cream color and with a pink border, they are piercing a cream colored heart with a pink border.

Lyrics: Jung Joo-Hee.
Music: Andreas Öberg, Simon Petrén, Maja Keuc and Kim One.
Arrangement: Andreas Öberg, Simon Petrén, Maja Keuc and Kim One.

Everything in this song is so charming.

65. "Love Arcade" - Cosmic (2024)

Lyrics: Liljune (153/Joombas).
Music: Ryan Kim, Divine Channel, Jayna Brown, denzelworldpeace, Sakehands, Yumi K. and Geist Way.
Arrangemente: Ryan Kim, Divine Channel, denzelworldpeace and Sakehands.

I think "Love Arcade" is quite adorable; the glockenspiel (I think?) at the start of the instrumental is fantastic ﹘ this song, like "Jackpot," is also filled with sound effects.

64. "Snap Snap" - Bloom (2022)

Lyrics: H. Toyosaki.
Music: Ellen Berg Tollbom, Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker, Alexander Karlsson and Alexej Viktorovitch.

In my mind there is a battle between "Snap Snap" and "Pose" where "Snap Snap" wins by a landslide -pose is not a bad song is just that "Snap Snap" is more my style-.

63. "Knock on Wood" - Queendom (2021)

Cover of Red Velvet's mini-album: "Queendom". Where the members are in a field. Yeri and Seulgi are standing in a yellow construction machine adorned with balloons.

Lyrics: Seo Ji-Eum.
Music: Jonatan Gusmark (Moonshine), Ludvig Evers (Moonshine), Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker and Ellen Berg Tollbom.
Arrangement: Jonatan Gusmark (Moonshine) and Ludvig Evers (Moonshine)

"Knock on Wood" is so cheerful and the bridge is fantastic.

62. "Time Slip" - The Red (2015)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Misfit.
Music: Daniel "Obi" Klein, Johannes "Josh" Jorgensen, Charli Taft and Jinbo.
Arrangement: Deekay, Charli Taft and Jinbo.

The beat of "Time Slip" reminds me of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." This song has fantastic harmonies

61. "Wings" - Chill Kill (2023)

Lyrics: Jang Jung-Won (Jam Factory) and Na Jeong-Ah (153/Joombas).
Music: Greg Bonnick, Hayden Chapman, Adrian McKinnon, Taet Chesterton and Sven Dayz.

Lyrics: Seo.
Music: Harvey Mason Jr., Michael "R!OT" Wyckoff, Patrick "J. Que" Smith, Britt Burton and Deez.
Arrangement: Harvey Mason Jr. and Michael "R!OT" Wyckoff.

I didn't care much for this song until I heard that saxophone in the chorus, and the part at the end sounds super good.

59. "Bulldozer" - Chill Kill (2023)

Lyrics: Bay (153/Joombas).
Music: Jacob Attwooll, Jon Eyden and Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker.
Arrangement: Jacob Attwooll.

The beat of "Bulldozer" is awesome. Some parts of the instrumental feel kind of eerie. I love the glass-breaking sound effects during the "what can I break" part. The harmonies are perfect.

58. "Take it Slow" - Ice Cream Cake (2015)

Lyrics: G-High (MonoTree) and Lee Joo-Hyoung (MonoTree).
Music: G-High (MonoTree) and Lee Joo-Hyoung (MonoTree).
Arrangement: MonoTree

"Take it Slow" is so lovely, and I know I'm repeating myself constantly with this, but like in the song above, the harmonies are perfect.

57. "LP" - The ReVe Festival: Day 1 (2019)

Digital cover for Red Velvet's mini-album The ReVe Festival: Day 1. There is an amusment park in a yellow background. On a small mountain at the right of the picture there is a sign that says: The Reve Festival

Music: Ryan S. Jhun, Hanif Sabzevari (Hitmanic), Dennis "DeKo" Kordnejad (Hitmanic), Pontus "PJ" Ljung and Anna Isbäck.
Arrangement: Ryan S. Jhun and Hitmanic.

Some parts of "LP" sound like bossa nova or bossa nova inspired. The saxophone in this song is phenomenal.

56. "Beg for Me" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm (2022)

Cover of Red Velvet's Mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhytm." Where the members are wearing blush pink dresses and standing around a garden that has a fountain covered in flowers. The title of the album is written to resemble clouds.

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: Josefin Glenmark, Gavin Jones and Ludwig Lindell (Caesar & Loui).
Arrangement: Ludwig Lindell (Caesar & Loui).

The intro, "dance for me, work for me, beg for me," sounds very Aespa-core to me (although it is also sung in other parts of the song, the intro specifically reminds me of Aespa). I love the chorus, and Wendy's rap is good.

55. "Cause it's You" - #Cookie Jar (2018)

Cover for Red Velvet's Japanese mini-album "#Cookie Jar." In the picture the members are dressed in light blue with drawn cookies in the member colours around them. Joy is at the top of the picture, followed by Wendy, Irene and Seulgi in the middle and Yeri at the bottom.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran.
Music: Ollipop (The Kennel), Daniel Caesar (Caesar & Loui), Ludwig Lindell (Caesar & Loui) and Hayley Aitken.
Arrangement: The Kennel.

I think I was hypnotized by "Zimzalabim" because the only part of the song that I -sort of- don't like is the dance break.

53. "BAMBOLEO" - The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm (2022)

Cover of Red Velvet's Mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhytm." Where the members are wearing blush pink dresses and standing around a garden that has a fountain covered in flowers. The title of the album is written to resemble clouds.

Lyrics: Cha Yu-Bin (Verygoods).
Music: Jake K (Artiffect), Maria Marcus (Artiffect), Andreas Öberg and MCK (Artiffect).

Digital cover of Red Velvet's album "The Red" where the members are dressed as dolls wearing wigs with the tips of the bangs dyed red

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Daniel "Obi" Klein, Oliver McEwan and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: Kenzie, Daniel "Obi" Klein, Oliver McEwan and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).

When I first heard "Lady's Room," I thought I was not going to like it, but this song turned out to be quite nice.

51. "Hit That Drum" - Summer Magic (2018)

Digital cover for Red Velvet mini-album: "Summer Magic." In the picture the members are sunbathing in beach recliners.

Lyrics: Misfit.
Music: Ronny Vidar Svendsen, Nermin Harambašić, Anne Judith Stokke Wik and Blair MacKichan.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Sophia Ayana, Léon Paul Palmen, Nathan Cunningham (Space Primates) and Marc Sibley (Space Primates).
Arrangement: Sophia Ayana, Léon Paul Palmen and Space Primates.

"Carpool" is a good summer song that I think would be great to listen to while on a vacation to the beach (or a summer vacation in general)

49. "Chill Kill" - Chill Kill (2023)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Kenzie, Jonatan Gusmark, Ludwig Evers, Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker and Ellen Berg Tollbom.
Arrangement: Kenzie and Moonshine.

After reviewing this song, I listened to it a few more times, but as time went by, I forgot about it. Everything about this song is good, except for the chorus, which I -sort of- only like the last one. I understand the idea behind that chorus, but I believe it doesn't mesh well with the rest of the song.

48. "Sayonara" - Sappy (2019)

Cover of Red Velvet's Japanese mini album "Sappy." From left to right Wendy, Yeri, Irene, Joy and Seulgi are standing behind a small bush while holding pink and red flowers. Their heads are covered by tulle scarfs with white flowers on them.

This is a super cheerful summer song. I love the whistle in the background of the chorus.

46. "Sassy Me" (멋있게) - RBB (2018)

Cover from Red Velvet's mini-album: "RBB." From left to right, above: Yeri, Irene and Joy. Bellow Wendy and Seulgi Sit inside of the mouth of a wolf statue.

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Jonatan Gusmark (Moonshine), Ludvig Evans (Moonshine) and Anne Judith Stokke Wik.
Arrangement: Moonshine.

Change my mind: "Sassy Me" should have been the title track of RBB.

45. "Iced Coffee" - Chill Kill (2023)

Cover for Red Velvet's album "Chill Kill." The cover resembles a family portrait with the members being in the middle of an oval. at the bottom Seulgi on the left and Yeri on the right rest their head on Joy's shoulders who is standing in the middle of the photo. 42. "Blue Lemonade" - Summer Magic (2018)

Lyrics: Seo Ji-Eum.
Music: Lee Joo-Hyoung (MonoTree), Nopari (MonoTree) and Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker (Sunshine).
Arrangement: MonoTree.

The first time I heard this song, the vocalization at the start made me believe it was going to be a sad song; thankfully, it's quite the contrary.

41. "All Right" - The Perfect Red Velvet (2018)

Cover for Red Velvet's repackage album "The Perfect Red Velvet." The cover is red and black and features the members walking away from the camera. Some of the words in the title look as if they were dripping.

Lyrics: Ku Tae-Woo.
Music: Herbie Crichlow, Lauren Dyson, Choi Jin-Suk and LDN Noise.
Arrangement: Herbie Crichlow, Lauren Dyson, Choi Jin-Suk and LDN Noise.

"Oh Boy" bridge is amazing, and those high notes towards the end are fantabulous.

38. "Aitai-tai" - #Cookie Jar (2018)

Lyrics: H. Toyosaki and Hyun Hwang (MonoTree).
Music: Hyun Hwang (MonoTree).
Arrangement: MonoTree.

At first, when I heard this song, I was like, but the electronic effect in the voices during the "Aitai-tai" part grew on me super quickly, and I ended up loving it. I also love Seulgi's verse before the second chorus.

37. "Happiness" - Debut Single (2014)

This is Red Velvet's debut song. I love "Happiness," but now I have gotten so used to hearing Yeri's voice in their songs that it kind of feels weird without her (technically, she does appear in the MV as an SM Rookie). Wendy's "Shine on me" will always be fantastic.

36. "Bad Dracula" - Russian Roulette (2016)

Digital cover of Red Velvet's mini-album "Russian Roulette" where in a light turquoise background the words Russian Roulette are written diagonally in cream color and with a pink border, they are piercing a cream colored heart with a pink border.

Lyrics: Jo Yoon-Kyung.
Music: Choi Jin-Suk, Nermin Harambašić, Tomas Nerbø Smågesjø and Courtney Woolsey.
Arrangement: Choi Jin-Suk.

"Bad Dracula" is a fun, charming song, I really love the instrumental. Some parts of the track sound like the music of an 8-bit game.

35. "La Rouge" (Special Track) - The ReVe Festival: Finale (2019)

Lyrics: Toyosaki Kenji.
Music: Alysa and Andy Love.

I collect music boxes, so I LOVE the instrumental of this song ﹘ I'm pretty sure in the background of the chorus, there are a few notes of a real music box that plays "The Sugar Plum Fairy" of the Nutcracker (I might be wrong, though 😰). The pre-chorus fills my heart so much.

7. "Knock Knock (Who's There?)" - Chill Kill (2023)

Cover for Red Velvet's album "Chill Kill." Everything about "One of These Nights" is so beautiful ﹘ the MV, the instrumental, the vocals, the lyrics, and the post-chorus make this song stand out so much. Although it is an emotional song, I will always love it; my mood doesn't matter while listening to this song.

3. "Automatic" - Ice Cream Cake (2015)

Lyrics: Choi So-Young.
Music: Daniel "Obi" Klein and Charli Taft.
Arrangement: Daniel "Obi" Klein and Charli Taft.

If I had to choose a word to describe "Automatic," that word would be alluring.
By the way, this is Yeri's first song as a member of Red Velvet and also the first appearance of a regular collaborator: Table-unnie!

2. "Kingdom Come" - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Cover of Red Velvet's for their mini-album "Perfect Velvet." In the picture two of the members are walking towards a house, while the other three are shown as giants behind the house with their foreheads touching.

Lyrics: Lee Seu-Ran.
Music: The Stereotypes, Deez and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel).
Arrangement: The Stereotypes.

"Kingdom Come" is a MASTERPIECE, and just like "Automatic," it feels alluring. Everything about this song feels perfect ﹘ I love how Wendy's "I love you till kingdom come" line at the end sounds.

1. "Peek-a-Boo" (피카부) - Perfect Velvet (2017)

Lyrics: Kenzie.
Music: Jonatan Gusmark (Moonshine), Ludvig Evers (Moonshine), Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker (Sunshine) and Ellen Berg Tollbom (Sunshine).
Arrangement: Moonshine.

I love all the songs in the top 5 a lot. In fact, all of them are at the number 1 spot in my heart, but the reason I decided to put this song in first place (aside from loving it) is because I think it is the one that represents Red Velvet the best. "Peek-a-Boo" is creepy, charming, catchy, and so much fun.

Final Thoughts

Red Velvet has a very solid discography, and in these 10 years, they have been very consistent with their music output (all of their releases have been consecutive).
In my opinion, the appropriately named Perfect Velvet/The Perfect Red Velvet is their best album. From the mini-albums, my favorite was Ice Cream Cake, followed closely by Cosmic, and from their Japanese releases, the full album Bloom is the way to go as it compiles the songs from their previous Japanese mini-albums and also adds new (and amazing) tracks -for an example listen to "Marionette"-
I had a hard time writing this post as I felt bad about some of the "worst" ranked, and I sort of ran out of things to say in some parts, but I really wanted this post to be done on time. I spent so many hours on this; I really hope I didn't make any mistakes! (If I did, tell me please!)
